THE RED ROSE GROUP

The Red Rose group covers a large geographical area including Cheshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside. It is a very active club, as can be seen from the Events Calendar on this site, and from the fact that at the 2008 AGM, we once again had over 60 people in attendance. The club's committee comprises:

and is assisted by many volunteers who organise the runs, visits, quizzes, treasure hunts and other events which take place after the Sunday meet. The club meets regularly on the second Sunday of the month at The Antrobus Arms, Antrobus, Cheshire, at noon, (map) and on the fourth Tuesday of every month at The Dog and Partridge, Charnock Richard, from 8:30pm (map). Antrobus meets are usually followed by an event of some description and everyone is welcome to join in - even if your TR is off the road and you have to come in an inferior marque, such as the occasional MX-5, MGF or Eurobox!

As the events calendar shows, we enjoyed a very busy and varied 2007 - including glorious runs and weekends all over the country (often joining in with other groups such as Wharfedale, Y Ddraig Goch and Shropshire).
