Hi
I have just started a website that is dedicated to the automobile restorer, motorcycle builder, kit car builder and model making enthusiast. The purpose of the site is to supply Stainless Steel Fasteners used in such projects. The site is probably the most comprehensive currently on the web in regards of types and ranges of fasteners available. Thread forms stocked are BA, BSCycle, BSF, BSW, Metric coarse, Metric fine, Metric extra fine, UNC and UNF. We do not just stock a few limited sizes in a range we supply the range, in fact there are nearly 5000 individual lines currently listed. We are looking to forge links within the industry and make the trade aware of our presence, so if you would consider granting us either a link or consider letting us see your enquiries we would be extremely grateful. The website is:

Hi all. I've received the following which may be of interest to the four-cylinder owners among us:Posted by Chris Briggs
"Hi chaps,
last year Cumbria Group lost a key member to the dreaded big C.
Many of you will remember Thomas Kirkpatrick as a live wire and TR 'Nut'
His widow Ann has asked Cumbria Group to organise a sale of both his TR stuff and his personnel tools to fellow TR'ers, she feels that is what Thomas would have wanted.
Can I ask you to publicise this event to any of your members who might possibly be interested in picking up a bargain or two.
We plan to hold the sale/Auction on Saturday October 2nd 11.00AM at Ann's home in Longtown on the Scottish Border.
I will prepare a full listing of what will be for sale, in the next week or so, and have it available to mail, all the TR stuff is for either TR 3 or 4, sorry there is no six pot items at all.
Thanks
John Morrison.

Just to let everyone know, the group contributed £50 from the proceeds of the Coast to Coast Run to the Marie Curie Cancer Fund as this was the charity Pete and Sue Hughes chose to support with their Garden Open Day. Unforunately this clashed with the Coast-to-Coast weekend and Richard and Bob, as organisers, thought this would be a nice gesture since fewer Red Rosers than normal were able to visit Pete and Sue.Posted by Administrator
Peter wrote: "A big thank you from Sue and I for the cheque from the TR Red Rosers on the Coast to Coast. Your remembering the Open Day is really appreciated. We've forwarded the cheque to Nicholas Payne the Chairman for Cheshire NGS and will pass on to you the receipt once we've received it.
All the best from the both of us.
Peter"

It gave us great pleasure to receive the broken piston award (12 months late) from Bill on Sunday at the Antrobus, although it didn’t have time to collect dust before it was re-awarded.
We were looking forward to polishing it for many months to come but Hey Ho, we do understand there is a queue waiting for it and wouldn’t want to appear greedy!!
Regards and happy TRing

Hi,Posted by Chris Briggs
Received the following:
I own a 1956 TR3 and a 1955 Jag XX140.--There's posh. I am a member of the register.
Can I ask a favour?
We meet at The Windmill Pub by junction 19, M6.
Our August meeting (on the 11th.) is "My other car is". Bring what you have.
So that my T.R. is not lonely, can some members of the Red rose group come along?
It would make a pleasant evening, browse each other's cars and have a couple of beers. We really are a pleasant bunch.
My phone no. is 01565 651262.
John Clarke.
If it's a nice evening, we may well pop along. Maybe see you there?
Chris

The Red Rose Group Blog Posted by Administrator
This is a new section which allows any of our members to add anything they like to the site e.g. Jokes, Technical info, Questions, Information etc
Whilst you can post comments to an existing blog entry without the need to log in, a new topic can only be started by sending your posting to - email stevedyne@freeola.com. We know this is a bit "clunky" but it's a limitation of the sofware.
Please don't let this restrict your use of the blog, and especially feel free to respond to any items - but as always, keep it polite and clean!
Enjoy...
